Clare, I would love for Bailey to cooperate for Kiri's birthday. Bailey is getting up there in years so her idea of excitement is sleeping. When we adopted her the vet couldn't tell us how old she was but they estimated her to be about 1-2 years old. We have had her for about 6 years. So I think they consider her a Sr. citizen at the vet at 8 years. The last cat we had lived to be 17. So we love our Seniors here.

Cute pets! I wish we could get a cat...or that I would wake up one morning and our dogs would 50 lbs smaller! Both of our 100 lb dogs LOVE to chase squirrels...especially with little me (I'm 5'0") being dragged after them, scraping my face along the cold, hard ground (yep, it's happened more than once!).

Michelle, that is really too funny. I am only 5'2" and even the doxies give me a run for my money. They are pretty strong for little dogs. I want a Great Dane next go 'round. My husband just wants a straight jacket for me. I am nuts about my pets! 4 dogs and now down to 2 cats.

Bailey, I was told by the Dog Pound is a Silver Point Himalyan. She was about to be put to sleep when I adopted her. She was bald. All of her hair had fallen out because she had no claws to catch food with. I think she was someone's very loved house cat who got out of the house and they couldn't find her. She is very sweet but hates the dogs!

Very cute! Yes, my cats give me similar expressions all the time. I wouldn't be surprised if they are plotting its demise...

I agree about those looks. Bailey is really camera shy. I have dozens of pictures of her where she is a blurr; running off to hide from me. I would love to dress her up in a party hat the for Kiri's birthday party, but I think that would just push her over the edge! We hardly see her now as it is. LOL!
